The 143rd Street Bridge Over Branch of Tinley Creek Improvement Project is a bridge replacement project currently in the preliminary engineering phase. During this phase, the project team will develop several design alternatives and conduct environmental and engineering studies to determine the preferred alternative. The preferred alternative will be presented at a public information meeting scheduled for August 1st from 5pm to 7pm at the Orland Park Civic Center (14750 Ravinia Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60462) to receive input from the community. Community members can also provide feedback prior to the public meeting through the project comment form. After the final design of the preferred alternative, construction of the new bridge is targeted for 2025.
